Processing times depend on the application, any additional checks, timing and the assessment workload. Approval within a fixed period is not guaranteed.
It can, of course, take longer. If you have plans involving relocation, property purchase, school or work, allow a buffer in your application schedule rather than assuming approval is guaranteed within three months.

After conditional approval, final procedures take place in Malaysia in accordance with programme requirements. These mainly include opening a bank account, placing the fixed deposit, a medical examination, health insurance and procedures for pass issuance.

The visit to Malaysia after conditional approval involves several local procedures for pass issuance, including opening a bank account, placing the fixed deposit, a medical examination and insurance.
In past cases, the full sequence of local procedures has been completed in as little as about three weekdays. This does not mean completion within three days is guaranteed.
The time needed varies with bank checks, appointment availability, additional documents and Malaysian public holidays. Banking procedures in particular may not proceed as scheduled even when all documents are ready.
