We frequently receive questions about utility bills and how to pay them.
This article covers Gas Malaysia bills and bottled LPG.
Two main types of gas supply
✅ Piped gas supplied by Gas Malaysia
✅ Bottled LPG connected to your cooker
The supply type can vary between units in the same condominium.
To check which you have, look under the cooker.
If a cylinder like this is stored beneath it, you use bottled LPG.

Important update on Gas Malaysia bills
Green paper bills were previously sent to landlords, but
paper billing ended on 1 July 2025.
You now need to check amounts due and manage payments through the app or website.
Please note that gas supply is suspended as soon as payment enters a second month overdue; reconnection requires a fee and a technician’s visit. Keeping extra credit in the account is therefore recommended.
Paying through the Gas Malaysia website or app

If you do not plan to move out soon, or will be away for an extended period, we recommend keeping extra credit in the account.
How to order bottled LPG and what it costs
When bottled LPG runs out and the cooker will no longer light, order a replacement from a supplier and pay cash on delivery.
There is no way to check the remaining amount, so running out unexpectedly is a drawback. Expect to replace the cylinder around three or four times a year.
It generally costs less than Gas Malaysia.
How to order
① Ask the management office.
They can usually refer you to a local supplier, who may deliver within an hour.
② Search for “propane gas” plus your area name and contact a supplier.
③ Contact a supplier with nationwide coverage.
